Individual horse-assisted coaching
Individual horse-assisted coaching at a força, usually four to eight sessions, for adults with burnout, trauma, PTSD or neurodivergence. No group, no audience, no pressure to share. Some things you can't solve by talking about them.
Working on what you can't explain but can feel
Some things can't be solved by talking about them. The tension that won't lift. The pattern you keep falling back into. The sense that you're functioning but not living. Individual horse-assisted coaching offers a different way in: through your body.
At a força you work one-to-one with me and the horses. No group, no audience, no pressure to share. Everything at your own pace, tuned to what you need.
Who is it for?
Individual horse-assisted coaching suits you when talking isn't enough. In practice I work a lot with:
High-masking professionals who compensated for years and are now stuck. Burnout, a diagnosis, or simply the sense that it can't go on like this.
Professionals with trauma or PTSD looking for something that works at the level of the body, alongside or after therapy.
People with chronic stress or burnout who notice that their nervous system no longer settles. Who know all the advice, but don't feel it in their body.
Expats looking for support in Dutch, English or French.
How does it work?
Introductory call
We always start with an introductory call. Online, 20–30 minutes, free. I want to know what you're looking for. And I'll tell you honestly whether horse-assisted coaching is the right means for it. If it isn't, I'll refer you on.
The programme
Every programme is tailored. Most individual programmes consist of 4 to 8 sessions, mixing sessions with the horses and coaching conversations. Sessions with the horses last 90 minutes. Coaching conversations at the office or online last an hour.
Between sessions you'll get somatic exercises to take with you. Short, concrete exercises that help you hold on to what you experience with the horses in your everyday life.
What happens with the horses
No riding. Everything happens from the ground. You do exercises with the horse that show you something about how you relate to boundaries, closeness, control and letting go. The horse responds to your nervous system and shows you what is really going on, beyond what you're used to saying.
Sometimes that's confronting. Often it's a relief.
The co-coaches
I work with Myrna and Easter, two mares with very different characters.
Myrna is a wise Haflinger who often offers protection at the start of a programme.
Easter is a Shetland pony and a born leader who challenges you to be clear.
Together they create a dynamic that makes every session different.

Programmes and investment
See the pricing page for an overview of programmes and costs. During the introductory call we decide together which programme fits your situation.
For more intensive work, from spring 2027 I also offer coaching in Tomar, Portugal. Three to five days working with horses in a setting of quiet and space.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can't find your question here? Book a free, no-obligation introductory call through my online calendar at the bottom of this page.
Do I need experience with horses?
No. You don't have to ride. Everything you need, you'll learn on the spot.
Is this therapy?
No. Coaching, not therapy. It works well alongside therapy or as a follow-up to it.
How often are the sessions?
Usually once every two to three weeks. More often is possible, but your nervous system needs time to process.
