For training programmes and institutions

a força offers guest lectures, placements, film screenings and specialisation modules to training programmes and institutions working with neurodivergence, trauma and reintegration. From practice, not from the textbook.

There is a client everyone knows and almost nobody recognises: intelligent, articulate, well prepared, reflective. Several programmes behind them, and dropped out again all the same. What is missing is usually not motivation or insight, but a lens. That lens can be learned, and that is what I offer.

what do I offer?

Guest lecture or workshop

Recognising high-masking neurodivergence in conversation and in case files. Trauma-informed observation. What the body shows when the language checks out. A single lecture or half a day, with anonymised case material from practice. For universities and universities of applied sciences, and for teams of care and reintegration professionals.

Placements and graduation projects

A small practice with an outspoken methodology and a stable day students can observe. Possible topics: masking in experiential settings, the three axes as an observation framework, high-masking neurodivergence in reintegration.

Film screening with discussion

The Colours of Us, the documentary on neurodivergence by British filmmaker Josh Westover (Without Silence). A screening followed by a discussion with Josh present, in the room or via Zoom, about what students and professionals will meet in practice. As an evening for a training programme, as part of a theme week, or for an organisation.

Specialisation for existing programmes

For programmes that train coaches or support workers and want to offer their alumni a deeper grounding in high-masking neurodivergence: a specialisation module that builds on your own core training. Scope, form and accreditation by arrangement.

Background material

Articles, the policy paper on high-masking neurodivergence at the Dutch UWV and the theoretical article on the three axes are on publications.
