Verdieping in paardge-assisteerd coachen
Als wetenschapper blijf ik het belangrijk vinden om constant te bijven onderzoeken of wat ik doe te stoelen is op gedegen wetenschappelijk onderzoek.
Ik volg met grote regelmaat trainingen, lees me goed in in de allernieuwste literatuur rondom de thema’s waarin ik me begeef.

Als eerste een kort college van de Universiteit van Nederland waarin Theo Verheggen vanuit de wetenschap vertelt wat de zin en onzin is van de dier als “genezer”
Documentaires
Hieronder twee mooie documentaires over het paard-geassisteerd coachen.
De eerste is “Stiller Kamerad” uit 2019. Een Duitse docu waarin drie veteranen met PTSS gevolgd worden tijdens hun werk met de paarden. Alle drie kampen ze met trauma’s uit hun diensttijd en ondervinden hierdoor veel lijden.
De tweede is een korte Nederlandse documentaire uit 2024 “Spiegel“.
Deze dicht op de huid gefilmde documentaire gaat over paard-geassisteerd coachen die wordt ingezet bij jongeren met uiteenlopende problematiek. Het is een ingetogen registratie van wat paarden teweeg kunnen brengen.
Re-integratiemogelijkheid
Het UWV zet regelmatig paard-geassisteerd coachen in voor re-integratie. In dit filmpje zie je Daniëlle (WIA). Zij volgt al maanden paardentherapie.
Paard Amber helpt haar bij de spanningen die ze heeft door haar complexe PTSS. Het contact met Amber is heel belangrijk voor haar re-integratie.
