UWV programmes
As a subcontractor at VEVE coaching, I and my colleagues are available for UWV programmes (Modular and Reintegration Services and Werkfit) in the South Holland region.
During reintegration programmes for the UWV, we first focus on “relaxing and finding balance”.
We work together with the horses.
When the help of a horse is called in, you can quickly, effectively and accurately identify bottlenecks.
The coaches translate the horse’s non-verbal communication to the client. The horse responds to the presence of a person in the arena, paddock or pasture. This initiates and supports awareness processes.
With the information obtained, we engage in dialogue with the clients to move forward.
Gradually, the head and heart will become more and more aligned through a reintegration process with horses, allowing the client to feel which (better) choices he or she can make, to do (more) of what he or she is passionate about and to do (more) of what is good for him or her, without feeling guilty towards others.
MODULAR PROGRAMMES
participation intervention
During this reintegration process, the client will take the first steps towards regaining balance by releasing tension and stress and cautiously undertaking activities outside the home.
This could involve going for a walk with a friend or having a cup of coffee with a neighbour.
promoting social participation
During the Promoting Social Participation reintegration programme, the client will take steps to undertake organised activities outside the home.
This could involve signing up for weekly group dance classes or starting volunteer work that appeals to the client.
guidance during education
During this programme, we will guide you if you are following a course and need extra guidance and support to persevere and complete the course, so that you can obtain a certificate or diploma.

WERKFIT
A Werkfit reintegration programme is intended for those who are expected to be fit for work at the end of the reintegration programme and able to return to work.
A Werkfit reintegration programme may cover the following topics:
Improving personal effectiveness
This includes increasing self-confidence, learning to set boundaries, achieving greater balance by letting go of tension and stress, learning to deal with limitations, empowerment and the question: Who am I? What can I do? And what do I want?
Strengthening employee skills
This includes actively building a daily schedule by, for example, doing volunteer work, learning to be on time, keeping appointments and learning to take colleagues/managers into account.
Identifying labour market position
This includes identifying a search direction in terms of work, researching the possibility of becoming self-employed, identifying qualities, skills and competencies, and expanding one’s network through the use of social media, for example.

INFORMATION
ARE YOU A CLIENT OF THE UWV?
Are you a client of the UWV and would you like to feel better about yourself, so that you can actively participate in society with sufficient energy and be of value to others?
You can express your interest in a reintegration programme with Valerie Elsing – VEVE coaching to your UWV contact person. You will then be advised to make an appointment for a personal introductory meeting so that we can discuss what the programme will look like for you. We always tailor reintegration programmes to individual needs.
DO YOU WORK AT THE UWV?
Do you work at the UWV and want to know how much of a positive effect horse coaching has on people? How it activates and motivates people with stress, trauma, burnout, low self-confidence or other issues in a sustainable way? Feel free to contact us for more information.
In addition, we warmly invite UWV employees who have no experience with (the positive results of) horse coaching to come and experience what horse coaching entails and what it can mean for clients. We regularly organise (free of charge) an introductory workshop on horse coaching in the paddock.
Please feel free to contact us for more information and/or to discuss the possibilities.
