Why equine-assisted coaching?
Whatever the reason for seeking help, you already have the solution within you. Together with the horses, we will work to find these solutions. Our approach focuses on strengths, not weaknesses.
The horse’s direct and objective feedback on your actions brings issues that cause great tension to the surface more quickly than any other form of coaching.
Horses only trust authentic behaviour. Working with a horse is only possible if someone is well grounded and if their thoughts and feelings are aligned.
Through contact with the horse, you learn to discover who you really are and what really suits you.
Our approach is based on the work of Bessel van der Kolk, Peter Levine, Gabor Maté and others, and we attend annual training courses at the NICABM to keep this knowledge up to date.
ALONE OR TOGETHER?
Individual programmes
One-to-one coaching is suitable for you if you want to make changes in your personal or professional life, but would rather not do so in a group setting.
We offer a variety of programmes to suit your needs.
Equine-assisted coaching in groups
Equine-assisted coaching is available on an individual basis, but also in teams of up to 10 people or in small groups of up to four people.
A group session offers the unique advantage of being able to directly observe the difference in interaction between the horse and each person; the same animal shows different reactions to each participant.
Teams:
Horses can be used effectively to help a team work effectively towards shared goals. With a maximum of 10 people, we can quickly identify the problem areas in the group dynamics through exercises with the horse.
Group:
During this type of horse coaching session, each participant receives a personal session. The advantage of working together in a group is that you also learn by observing how others interact with their horse. These experiences can provide a great deal of insight without the need for words. This makes it a safe experience for all participants to be in the arena with the horse.
